What is the Doctor Portal?

The MedXSmart Doctor Portal is a secure workspace where verified doctors view health data that patients choose to share from their MedXSmart account. Patients decide what you see and for how long — nothing is shared automatically.

Verification requirements

Every application is reviewed before any patient data can be accessed. The verified badge appears only after approval.

  • Full legal name, email and phone number
  • Country and city of practice
  • Licence / registration number and licensing authority (NPI for US doctors)
  • Medical licence or registration certificate — required
  • Email verification and a professional declaration

A CNIC or other government ID alone is not proof of medical qualification. Documents are stored privately and seen only by authorised staff.

Who can join the MedXSmart Doctor Portal?

Licensed medical practitioners in Pakistan and other countries. Every application is checked by our team against the relevant licensing authority (for example PM&DC in Pakistan) before access is granted.

Can I see any patient's records?

No. You only see patients who chose to share with you, only the categories they selected, and only until the end date they set. Patients can revoke access at any time.

How long does verification take?

Our team aims to review applications within 1–2 working days. This is a target, not a guaranteed deadline. You will be notified by email once a decision is made.

Is the Doctor Portal free?

Yes, the Doctor Portal is free for verified doctors.

Is chat an emergency service?

No. Shared data and messages are not monitored in real time. Patients are advised to contact local emergency services for urgent help.
